Leisure Time® Spa 56 Chlorinating Granules are a specifically formulated, concentrated dichlor granular chlorine solution that effectively sanitizes and shocks hot spa water to help keep it clean and clear. This product is a convenient method for maintaining your spa's hygiene and safety.
Used in small doses, this product can serve as a daily chlorine treatment for both indoor and outdoor spas. In higher doses, it effectively controls chloramines and bromamines formation while eliminating algae, bacteria, and other pathogenic germs. Additionally, Spa 56 makes an excellent shock treatment for bromine spas, reactivating bromide ions.
Made with a soft sodium dichlor formula, this sanitizer is pH neutral (7.0) and contains no calcium, preventing contributions to water hardness. The formulation includes a built-in sunscreen to protect it from UV degradation, allowing for use during the day.
For regular maintenance, use 1/2 oz per 500 gallons to elevate chlorine levels above 3 ppm. For shocking the spa, apply 1 oz per 500 gallons to sanitize and disinfect the water effectively. The granules dissolve rapidly, ensuring an easy and efficient treatment process.
